MTG’s fiancé quits reporting job a week after Trump zinger during White House Q&A

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s fiancé has quit his job as a White House correspondenta week after President Donald Trump took a pot shot at the former congresswoman.

The Independent US

Brian Glenn, a reporter for right-wing network Real America’s Voice, announced his decision Thursday during an interview with conservative podcaster Eric Bolling, adding that he wanted to spend more time with family and friends.

“This has been really the only life I’ve known, you know, chasing the news, being in front of the camera, a lot of times behind the camera, and especially in the last seven, eight years, following President Trump, being kind of the MAGA mouthpiece, if you will, for the Trump America First agenda,” Glenn said.

Glenn has been engaged to Greene since December. The former House Representative from Georgia was once one of Trump’s loudest MAGA allies but has broken with the president on a number of issues including the botched release of the Epstein files and the Iran war. She left Congress in January.

Trump referenced his fractured relationship with Greene when Glenn was in the Oval Office with other members of the press last week. “You know, you act so good. I love this guy. He’s a great guy, even though I don’t love his girlfriend too much,” the president said, in response to a question Glenn asked about his plan to scrap the filibuster.

In the interview withBolling!, Glenn also revealed details of his upcoming nuptials.

“And of course, Marjorie and I, planning a wedding, likely before the end of the year. That’s a little bit of breaking news… as well. Focus on that, but really focus on each other. And I think that this campaign can be grueling,” he said. “It can really kind of drain the life out of a lot of people. And I’m 56 years old. I’m not a young kid anymore.”

The Georgia firebrand has also been highly critical of the Iran war and its impact on the domestic front.

In response to the Trump administration’s release of information about UFOs Friday, Green wrote: “I’m so sick of the ‘look at the shiny object’ propaganda while they wage foreign wars, let rapist and pedophiles run free, and ruin the value of our dollar. Unless they roll out live aliens and test demo UFOs or actually admit what we know this really is then I have way better things to do on this Friday.”

In a separate post she added: “The most transparent administration in history still hasn’t released all the Epstein files or arrested anyone, but rolled out some UFO files today so you would get so excited that you forgot you are paying over $4.50/gallon because they are fighting another foreign war they said they would no longer fight.”

Garden parties are a royal tradition dating back to the 1860s, as a way for the British monarch to thank community members for their contributions to society and reward public service. According to theroyal family's official website, over 30,000 people are invited to various garden parties, held in the spring and summer months, annually.

Those who score a coveted invitation are welcomed onto the palace grounds at 3 p.m. local time, and members of the royal family traditionally arrive an hour later. They are welcomed by a military band playing the national anthem.

Inside, guests are invited to eat treats like cake, drink tea and wander around the palace's gardens.

Different members of the royal family attend the events, and there's a chance that guests will get a chance to chat with one. The website describes, "Members of the royal family circulate among the guests through 'lanes.' Each takes a different route, and random presentations are made so that everyone has an equal chance of speaking to a member of the royal family."
