During the first episode of season 3 of his podcastDreams of Our Loved Ones, Michael looks back on a dream he had in which he was visited by his sister shortly before her death on Jan. 28. While sharing with his listeners that he recently had a "very unexpected and very, very sad" death in the family, Michael recalled the dream that came to him "days or a few days before she died."

"I always cherish the times I can meet with a loved one in the dream state," Michael began. "And I was hugging her, which was really beautiful. And I guess it was sort of a goodbye."

The dream served as their farewell because, as the podcast host shared, Catherine "wasn't talking much in the end" before her death. "She didn't really want to talk on the phone. And she didn't live close by, she's in Los Angeles," he explained.

The dream visitation didn't end there, according to Michael. "Since then, I've had a lovely dream where I was visiting her, and she was in a new house and it was being renovated and she was really busy choosing furniture and couches," he told listeners. "And she said, 'You can sleep here anytime, Michael. You can come over and stay anytime.'"

"And it reminded me of when I was when she was inSecond City Televisionand I was apprenticing at the Windsor Arms Hotel," he continued. "I would go over and sleep over at her place some nights because she had an extra bedroom. Yeah, pretty cool. But yeah, it was beautiful. She was just so happy and very busy in the other world that she's now in, but yeah, it's beautiful."

Michael ended the podcast telling his listeners that the bittersweetness of dream visitations was that it helped people stay connected with their "deceased loved ones."

"We're all interconnected," he added. "And the love, you know, continues no matter what. They're always with us."

Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary Gets Second Shoutout From Artemis II Crew

The cosmos has always had a way of inspiring, and now, it’s influencing the silver screen. So much so that the NASA Artemis II crew has publicly praisedRyan Gosling‘sProject Hail Maryfor the second time. Their thrilling endorsement is the latest boost for Gosling’s recent cinematic venture that has been creating a huge stir worldwide.

Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary receives another nod from Artemis II crew

The Artemis II crew is giving Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary movie a double thumbs-up from space. However, this isn’t the first time the NASA crew has praised Gosling’s sci-fi thriller, hinting at a stellar performance from the actor.

After watching the film before their lunar journey, Mission Control playfully referenced it byquoting“Amaze! Amaze! Amaze!” – in response to Commander Reid Wiseman’s description of the Moon.

The notable event occurred during NASA’s official broadcast of the Artemis II space voyage. It coincided with the lunar flyby that took the crew farther from Earth than any human had previously been. Their achievement of a planned distance of 252,760 miles will enable them to surpass the Apollo 13 mission’s 1970 record of 248,655 miles.

“We just realized we have Earth at window four and the Moon at window three, and it gives you the best idea of scale we have had yet,” Wiseman said. “The Moon is about three to four times the size of the Earth, and it is almost full, and the Earth is just a small crescent out there. It’s magnificent – I got a picture of it with the wide lens. Such a majestic view out here.”

Responding to the record-breaking achievement, Mission Control said, “Amaze! Amaze! Amaze! Thank you, Reid.”

Fans of Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary, or the movie adaptation starringRyan Gosling, will recognize the quote. It’s a nod to Rocky, the lovable Eridian alien who helps Gosling’s Ryland Grace on a mission to save humanity. Rocky’s unique way of expressing excitement is now echoed by Mission Control.

Messi scores, but Inter Miami only gets 2-2 tie with Austin FC in opener of new stadium

MIAMI (AP) — Lionel Messi scored on the long-awaited opening nightin his new home stadium. And Luis Suarez found a way to tie things up late in the second half.

MLS Austin Inter Miami Soccer

It was good enough to salvage a point for Inter Miami.

Messi scored on a headerin the 10th minute, Suarez hammered home a volley in the 82nd minute and Inter Miami escaped with a 2-2 tie against Austin FC in the defending MLS champions' first match at their still-under-construction stadium near Miami International Airport on Saturday night.

Inter Miami (3-1-2) is now unbeaten in its last five MLS matches, and Austin (1-2-3) is now winless in its last four contests.

MLS Commissioner Don Garber was at the match, lauding the work that David Beckham — who picked Miami 13 years ago — did to get to this day. Inter Miami is in its seventh MLS season, its third with Messi, but has played home matches in Fort Lauderdale until now.

Garber touted the stadium opening as the latest sign of growth for MLS.

“I think our best days are still ahead," Garber said. "David shined a light on our league, and Leo’s taking that torch, and he’s showing it around. And we’re getting calls from players around the world.”

The Herons never led; Austin took a 1-0 lead on Guilherme Biro's goal — the first ever at Nu Stadium — in the sixth minute, and the visitors went up 2-1 when speedy reserve Jayden Nelson scored in the 53rd minute.

Messi and Suarez both got tying goals, and Inter Miami missed some chances for a potential winner in the final minutes. Maybe the best of the lot: Mateo Silvetti's chance in the 87th minute, when he accepted a cross from the right wing and tried to one-time the ball but sent it sailing high.

“We already know what Leo is capable of and the trouble he causes for the opposition, and even without the ball as well,” Inter Miami defender Maxi Falcon told Apple TV after the match. “And Luis, too — whenever he’s inside the box, he’s lethal, and he proved that once again.”

Suarez thought he scored in the 90th minute after a free kick from Messi, but the play was called offside. And Messi had a chance about three minutes later from inside the box, but Brad Stuver got low for a save diving to his left to keep the game knotted at 2-2.

Stuver said it was a great result, especially given the circumstances — against the MLS champs, who were opening their new stadium.

“We got to be the villains,” Stuver said.

Austin led much of the second half, after Nelson came on at intermission and gave his club a spark.

Nelson — who played for Vancouver against Inter Miami in last season's MLS Cup final — got behind the defense, avoided going offside and took a pass from Myrto Uzuni in the middle of the field about 30 yards from the goal.

He sent a low shot that got past charging Inter Miami goalie Dayne St. Clair and kissed off the inside of the left goalpost before settling into the net.

Food and drink at 2026 Masters: Concession prices at Augusta still a huge bargain

There's a lot that makes the Masters a special event, aside fromhosting the top golfers in the worldat one of the most exclusive golf clubs there is. The merchandise is always highly sought-after, from Masters-branded polo shirts to garden gnomes.

And then, there's the food.

A trip to Augusta National isn't complete without taking a bite of either the signature pimento cheese sandwich or egg salad sold at concession stands all over the grounds. And if the Southern heat starts kick in, a Georgia peach ice cream sandwich is one of the best ways to cool off.

Another big draw about the concessions at the Masters is that they have always been reasonably priced, and that tradition continues this year, even with some marginal changes.

Here's a look at how much patrons at the year's first major golf championship can expect to shell out for food:

Masters concession prices in 2026

Three items have slightly increased in price this year. The blueberry muffin and southern cheese straws are both up to $2.50 from $2 a year ago, and cookies are now up to $2, a 25-cent increase from last year.

However, all the other traditional Augusta National staples will stay at the same prices as they were in 2025. In fact, the price of the egg salad and pimento cheese sandwiches hasn't increased since 2002.

  • Egg Salad: $1.50

  • Pimento Cheese: $1.50

  • Masters Club: $3

  • Pork Bar-B-Que: $3

  • Chicken Salad on Honey Wheat: $3

  • Ham & Cheese on Rye: $3

  • Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich: $3

The savory tomato pie, an empanada-style handheld that made its limited debut a year ago, is back on the menu in 2026. It will be priced at $3.

Beverages, too, remain the same as last year.

  • Soft drinks: $2

  • Iced tea/bottled water: $2

  • Beer/wine: $6

Augusta National also serves a special wheat ale called "Crow's Nest," which replaced Blue Moon ale in 2021 and also sells for $6.

Why is food so cheap at the Masters?

Every year fans in attendance share their favorite treats and rave about how the prices are a throwback to decades earlier. And they're right, it's all intentional.

Masters 2026:Predictions, sleepers, longshots at Augusta National

“We believe that one of the reasons the Masters is popular with patrons of the game is because they can obtain good food and drink at reasonable prices,” former Augusta National chairman Clifford Roberts wrote in his 1976 book, “The Story of Augusta National Golf Club.”

Even with inflation spiking the costs of food across the nation, The Masters has held true to this philosophy.
