Com, the locals are not very happy with the “noticeable surge in visitors treating the area almost like a spectacle,” as it disrupts their peace. The insider revealed that the “people are driving in specifically to catch a glimpse or film the property” of the former royal.

Residents in Wolferton, a small hamlet near Wood Farm, have reported a steady increase in traffic. Many cars have stopped to take photographs and videos of the property of the ex-prince. Moreover, some visitors are even taking selfies near the entrance, while others gather to spotMountbatten-Windsor.

“It’s become a talking point in the area because it’s so unusual – people are coming from outside just to see where he is staying, even though it’s otherwise a quiet and remote place,” said a resident.

Adding more, another resident said that due to the surge, there is “frustration” among locals “because the roads aren’t built for this kind of attention and it’s disrupting what is normally a very peaceful community.”

As per the outlet, the Sandringham estate’s Land Rover Safari Tour costs $211 per person. It passes by the entrance to Wood Farm as well as Marsh Farm, which has further fueled interest among visitors, and people have been “treating the location almost as a landmark.”

Report: NCAA Tournament expansion to 76 will be finalized after Final Four

NCAA's leadership and basketball committees are expected to finalize expansion of the men's and women's NCAA Tournaments to 76 teams shortly after the conclusion of this year's tournament, Yahoo Sports reported on Friday.

Per the report, the new format would see 52 teams earn berths directly into what is currently the first round of the NCAA Tournament, while the remaining 24 -- 12 lower-seeded automatic qualifiers and the final 12 at-large teams -- would play 12 opening-round games Tuesday and Wednesday. They would be held in the longtime First Four home of Dayton, Ohio, and at an additional site to determine which teams would advance to Thursday and Friday's first round.

However, these details could also reportedly change as the NCAA continues to talk with its men's tournament TV partners in Warner Bros. Discovery and CBS, which have broadcasting rights through the 2031 tournament.

The report didn't indicate how quickly expansion could be added, but it could theoretically come as soon as the 2027 NCAA Tournaments. But expansion "will happen" barring something unforeseen in the next few days.

It would mark the first expansion of the tournament since the field moved from 65 to 68 teams with the addition of the First Four games in 2011. The field had been 64 or 65 teams since 1985.

The Big 12 and Atlantic Coast Conference were the leading voices behind tournament expansion, according to the report. However, it's also something that NCAA president Charlie Baker has said he's in favor of doing.

Rashee Rice will not face NFL suspension amid assault allegations

Kansas City Chiefswide receiverRashee Ricewill not face discipline under the NFL's personal conduct policy amidan ongoing civil lawsuit accusing him of domestic assault.

The NFL announced April 3 it had concluded its investigation into the accusations made against Rice by his former girlfriend, asESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

"There was insufficient evidence to support a finding that he violated the personal conduct policy,"NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said in a statement.

Sean Lindsey, an attorney representing Rice, addressed the news with a statement of his own.

"Mr. Rice wants to thank the NFL for their thorough investigation, and looks forward to the start of the 2026-27 NFL season," Lindsey said.

Rice was named in a civil lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend in the Dallas County (Texas) court system on Feb. 16, 2026. The lawsuitalleged Rice assaulted the womanmultiple times over a 19-month period. Police have not filed criminal charges related to the allegations against Rice.

The complaint alleged that the Chiefs wide receiver had "grabbed, choked, strangled, pushed, thrown, scratched, hit, and headbutted" his ex-girlfriend. She also alleges Rice threw things at her, "destroy[ed] property, punch[ed] walls, [broke] furniture" and locked her out of their shared home "in the middle of the night."

Rice's former girlfriend, who is also the mother of their two children,shared an Instagram post on Jan. 7alleging she had been the victim of domestic violence for several years. She did not mention Rice by name in that post, which featured a picture of her with a bloody lip. The post has since been deleted.

"It's been nothing but hell," she wrote, adding, "I've protected his image too long and I'm done doing that. It's time to protect my peace, protect my children and stand up for myself."

According to the lawsuit, Rice's ex-girlfriend was pregnant during much of the alleged abuse. She is seeking more than $1 million in damages in the civil suit.

The lawsuit remains open, according to Dallas County court records.

The National Football League has concluded its investigation into abuse allegations againstRashee Rice, determining that theKansas City Chiefswide receiver will not face discipline under the league’s personal conduct policy.

In astatementreleased Friday, the NFL said it had closed its inquiry after finding “insufficient evidence to support a finding that he violated the personal conduct policy.”

"Mr. Rice wants to thank the NFL for their thorough investigation, and looks forward to the start of the 2026-27 NFL season," Rice's attorney, Sean Lindsey, said in a statement toThe Associated PressandESPN. The Chiefs have not publicly commented on the NFL's decision.

The investigation began in February after Rice’s former girlfriend,Dacoda Jones, alleged in a lawsuit that he had physically assaulted her multiple times over the course of their relationship, resulting in injuries including bleeding and bruising.

According to court documentspreviously reviewed by PEOPLE, Jones filed her lawsuit in Dallas County District Court on Feb. 16, alleging that she was “physically assaulted” by Rice at residences in Texas and Missouri between December 2023 and July 2025.

The lawsuit describes what Jones characterized as “an escalation in violent behavior,” alleging repeated incidents over that time period. She claimed Rice “grabbed, choked, strangled, pushed, thrown, scratched, hit, and headbutted” her, along with other alleged acts including throwing objects, destroying property and locking her out of the home.

The petition further alleges that some of the incidents occurred while she was pregnant and resulted in injuries, including “bleeding, swelling, bruising and other pain and physical injury” to multiple parts of her body. Jones is seeking at least $1 million in damages.

Rice was served notice of the lawsuit on Feb. 18, according to court records.

In response to the lawsuit, Lindsey toldESPNin February, "On October 9th, 2025, well after the parties' relationship had ended, Ms. Jones stated under penalty of perjury in a sworn Affidavit for Non-Prosecution that 'Mr. Rice and I had a verbal argument, but he did not punch me.' We will allow the legal process to run its course and have no further comment at this time."

The two were previously in a long-term relationship and share two children together.

Before filing the lawsuit, Jones published since-deleted images of bruises and wounds on her body in January, alleging that she was abused. She did not name her alleged abuser in the post.

The NFL’s decision comes after Rice previously served a six-game suspension tied tohis role in a high-speed crashon a Dallas highway during the 2024 offseason, which left multiple people injured.

He later pleaded guilty to third-degree felony charges and was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation.
