Man arrested after allegedly trespassing at Nicki Minaj's home

The home ofNicki Minajis the subject of apolice investigationafter a man was arrested for allegedly trespassing on the rapper's property.

The man, identified by authorities as 36-year-old Leland Adams, was taken into custody on Wednesday, April 1, after he allegedly entered Minaj's Calabasas, California, home, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed to USA TODAY on Thursday.

Adams was booked into the sheriff department's Lost Hills station on a misdemeanor charge, according to arrest records reviewed by USA TODAY, though additional details on the incident were not immediately available.

A bail amount for Adams is currently not listed.

According toNBC4 Los Angeles, Adams was arrested after refusing to "heed the warning from the property's security" and leave Minaj's home, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told the outlet. Police said Adams did not enter Minaj's house.

It's unclear if Minaj or her family were present at the time of the break-in, per NBC News. Security officers reportedly detained Adams until deputies arrived.

USA TODAY has reached out to Minaj's representatives for comment.

In recent months, Minaj has found herself in the political spotlight due to her vocal support forPresident Donald Trump. The Grammy-nominated rapperattended the Trump Accounts Summitin late January, touting herself as "probably the president's No. 1 fan."

Minaj opened up about herallyship with Trumpduring a February appearance on"The Katie Miller Podcast."

"When I saw how he was being treated over and over and over, I just couldn't handle it," Minaj told Katie Miller, the wife of top White House aideStephen Miller.

"I felt that … a lot of that bullying and the smear campaigns and all of the lying, I felt that that had been done to me for so many years," Minaj told Miller. "And I was watching it in real time happen to someone else, and I didn't think he deserved it."

The design featured a python-inspired pattern, adding texture and depth to the shimmering silhouette. The halter neckline framed her shoulders and kept the focus on clean lines. The gown hugged her figure, then flowed smoothly to the floor, allowing her to move freely during performances of “This Is The Life” and “The Climb.”

However, the look truly came together with her footwear. Cyrus paired the gown with Black Suede Studio’s Ruby 100 black patent leather pumps. The pointed heels featured a glossy finish, which complemented the dress without overpowering it. Because of that, the styling felt cohesive and intentional. She wore her hair down in soft, straight layers, while her makeup remained polished and stage-ready.

Morrissey — who is most recognized from his supporting role as a friend of Dani Bowman on seasons 1 and 2 of Netflix’s romantic docuseries following autistic people exploring the dating world — proposed to his girlfriend of five years, Andrea Clary, in Salt Lake City on Sunday, March 29.

"One of the biggest dreams I’ve had since I was very young was to become a husband to the most beautiful girl in the world," he captioned theInstagramannouncement posted on Tuesday, March 31. "Little me would be so happy to see that dream now coming true."

He added, "I can’t wait to marry you, my fiancée. Cheers to the future Mr. & Mrs. Morrissey 🩷 3.29.2026 💍."

Morrissey, who is on the autism spectrum, shared nine scenic proposal photos. In one shot, Clary covers her face in shock as Morrissey asks her to marry him while on bended knee. In another image, the groom-to-be jumps up into the air with joy after Clary accepted his proposal. He presented his fiancée with an oval-cut diamond on a gold band.

A fewLove on the Spectrumstars congratulated the couple in the comments section, including Connor Tomlinson's mother, Lise Menard Smith. "Congratulations!!! Eek!" she wrote.
