little Joe Rogan

With the loss ofAnderson Cooper, CBS'60 Minutesmay be courting a popular, yet controversial, podcaster. Sources say there is a possibility thatJoe Rogancould be in line as his replacement.

His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, has a wide reach, with 11 million listeners daily. It recently became more accessible on Apple and other streaming platforms.

RadarOnlinereports that the news Joe may landon the network'slegacy news program has set off alarm bells at CBS. According to an insider, "This isn't stunt casting. It's strategy. Rogan opens a direct pipeline to the massive MAGA audience CBS has struggled to reach for years."

Last month, Anderson announced he's leaving the show after 20 years, as he seeks to spend more time with his two sons.

"You bring in Rogan and you immediately gain a core connection to over 50 percent of the country," according to a media executive. "He speaks to viewers who feel ignored or mocked by legacy media. That could solve the ratings and credibility problems of CBS overnight."

Yet there is speculation on whether Joe joining 60 Minutes will help or hurt the show. "It's a gamble. Rogan isn't traditional broadcast talent – he's raw, unscripted, and polarizing. That could either electrify 60 Minutes or blow it up," says a source.

According to a Radaronline branding expert source, "This gives him mainstream legitimacy in a way podcasting alone never could. It's a whole new platform – primetime, institutional credibility, historic prestige. It elevates his brand from disruptor to establishment power player."

"It would be the biggest reinvention in the show's history. The question is – are they brave enough to do it?" a source questioned. Bringing his followers and possibly new viewers to the network could be a win-win, especially for Joe.

Says a source, "Rogan doesn't need 60 Minutes. But 60 Minutes might need Rogan."

Safety Kevin Byard III, NFL's interceptions leader in 2025, reportedly signs 1-year deal with Patriots

Now the 32-year-old safety is reportedly headed east, where he'll take his ball-hawking skills to the New England Patriots on a one-year, $9 million deal, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

In 2025, Byard led the NFL in interceptions — a feat he also accomplished with the Tennessee Titans in 2017 — and finished as a first-team All-Pro for the third time in his career.

Byard picked off seven passes, accounting for 21.2% of the turnovers the Bears forced last season. He sniffed the career-high eight picks he logged with the Titans eight years earlier. At that time, he was a second-year player out of Middle Tennessee and he was playing for then-Titans head coach Mike Vrabel.

The two of them will be reunited in New England.

Byard, a 2016 third-round pick, spent the first seven-plus seasons of his career in Tennessee beforehe was traded midseason in 2023 to the Philadelphia Eagles. His time withhis hometown Eagleswas short-lived, however.

Byardsigned with the Bears ahead of the 2024 season, marking the beginning of his two-year run in Chicago.

This past season, he helped Chicago return to the playoffs for the first time in five years and log a winning record for the first time in seven years.

In addition to his seven interceptions, Byard also tallied 93 total tackles, including 61 solos and 4 TFLs. He also allowed just 24 receptions, 282 receiving yards and three touchdowns through the air, per Pro Football Focus.

Byard will join a Patriots team that was tied for 19th in the league with 19 takeaways in 2025 but forced eight turnovers in the playoffs en route to the Super Bowl.

Katy Perry Loses Trademark Case Against Australian Designer

An Australian designer who shares a similar name withKaty Perryhas secured a major legal victory after the country's High Court ruled in her favor in a long-running trademark dispute. The decision, handed down on Wednesday, determined that designerKatie Perry(designer), who changed her last name to Taylor in 2015, did not damage the singer's reputation or mislead consumers with her clothing label.

Australian designer Katie Perry wins trademark case against Katy Perry

Judges concluded that Katy Perry's reputation in Australia is so widely established that shoppers would not reasonably assume that designer Katie Perry's clothing line is connected to the international music artist, as reported by theBBC. Taylor, who originally operated under her maiden name Katie Perry, launched her fashion label in 2007.

She registered the business name that year and later applied for trademark protection. By 2008, she had begun selling clothing under the Katie Perry label at local markets while also promoting the brand through a website and social media platforms. Around the same time, the singer Katy Perry was rapidly rising to global fame following the release of her breakout hit "I Kissed a Girl."

Court documents show that the designer first became aware of the singer when she heard the song on the radio in mid-2008. "I had never heard of the singer when I started my label," Taylor said in a statement included in court filings. "I was simply building a fashion business under the name I was born with."

In 2009, lawyers representing the pop star contacted the designer and asked her to stop using the Katie Perry brand. They also indicated plans to oppose her trademark application. However, the singer's legal team later withdrew the action, and the matter remained unresolved for years.

The dispute resurfaced in 2023 when Taylor filed a lawsuit accusing the singer of trademark infringement. The case focused on merchandise sold during the singer's 2014 Australian tour, including jackets, hoodies, T-shirts, and sweatpants carrying the Katy Perry name. A court initially ruled in Taylor's favor, finding that the merchandise sales violated her trademark rights.

In 2024, an appellate court overturned the earlier ruling and canceled the designer's trademark. Judges concluded that the singer had effectively been using her name as a commercial brand years before the clothing business launched.

The latest High Court decision has now reinstated the designer's trademark. The court stated that no ordinary person in Australia, after giving the matter even brief thought, would assume clothing sold under the Katie Perry label came from the American pop star. Following the decision, Taylor said the outcome validated her long-held belief about the purpose of trademark protections: "It has been about protecting small business in Australia, for standing up for what is right and showing that we all matter."
