Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has shared that he sympathises with co-star Helen Mirren's claims that the iconic franchise is build on 'profound sexism.' The actor, 71, played the iconic spy in four films from 1995 to 2002, but despite his affiliation with the franchise, he said there is 'always going to be conflict' over the representation of the character. Pierce has recently starred with Helen, 79, in the Paramount+ series MobLand, and the Oscar winner recently shared she is 'opposed' to the idea of a female 007.
