Weezer rocker's wife accused of disturbing act before being shot by police
The wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner allegedly shot at police officers, who say they were simply returning fire when they struck her in the shoulder. Jillian Lauren-Shriner, 51, who married the bassist back in 2005, is now facing an attempted murder charge for the bizarre incident outside of the couple's home in Eagle Rock on Tuesday. 'Our investigation revealed evidence such as shell casing and video footage showing she repeatedly ignored police commands to disarm and that she fired her weapon at LAPD officers,' spokeswoman Jennifer Forkish confirmed to PEOPLE.
